Paulina Rodriguez, known as PAURRO, is a Mexico City–born DJ and producer with over a decade of experience in the music industry. A proud ambassador of Mexico’s vibrant electronic scene, she has become a prominent figure on the global stage, captivating audiences with dynamic, euphoric house sets and cutting-edge productions.
Her journey began shortly after college, when she immersed herself in DJing through formal training and quickly earned a reputation in Mexico City’s top clubs and parties. Her ability to keep the dance floor moving led to bookings across the country and abroad. Determined to expand her creative reach, PAURRO earned a music production certification from SAE Institute, allowing her to weave original tracks seamlessly into her sets.
In 2018, she became a driving force in Mexico City’s music community as a booker, programmer, and radio host at Aire Libre, while performing at major festivals and clubs across Mexico and South America. During the pandemic, she released her debut single Only You Can Save Me on Discos Sentimiento and launched educational initiatives for aspiring DJs and producers.
A pivotal moment came in 2021 with her collaboration with Matias Aguayo of Cómeme, leading to the release of her debut EP Galavision and her role as label manager for Cómeme. This partnership broadened her sonic palette and solidified her place as one of Latin America’s most exciting electronic artists.
Her international profile has grown with appearances at venues such as Tresor and Boiler Room, and with her House of Paurro residency at Yu Yu—celebrated for its commitment to diversity and inclusivity—touring cities like New York, Miami, Bogotá, and Berlin. Her productions have been released on respected labels including Local Action, Clásico, and Nervous, earning support from industry peers and airplay on global radio platforms.
Today, PAURRO is based in Barcelona, continuing her mission to unite dance floors worldwide. She also hosts Antojitos, a monthly show on Radio 80000, offering a taste of her eclectic style and infectious energy.
