Valentina Magaletti will present a new show next year in collaboration with visual artist Theresa Baumgartner.
In the show she will present music from the well-acclaimed album “ A Queer Anthology of Drums” that was never performed as well as new compositions from her forthcoming album ‘’disquiet Mouth’’.
Aiming to fight the percussive determinism that looms over the new generations through an immersive spectrum of lights crafted by Theresa Baumgartner, this show hints at a MMA fighting arena with the artist in the center and the audience in a second ring.
The show is divided into three parts, ironically addressing the masculine, feminine nature of drumming and culminating in a queer finale where the conventional approach is defeated and freedom of expression prevails.
